VH1 partners with Transform on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15

RuPaul’s Drag Race is now on MTV

Hosted by RuPaul, drag queens from across the country face off in feats of fashion, acting, comedy and more in hopes of winning the title of America's Next Drag Superstar. As the show heads into season 15, VH1 announces it will be airing on MTV for the first time.

VH1 enlisted the help of Transform to deliver a suite of broadcast teasers and promos announcing the super sweet 16 new queens. Editor, Dylan Knight, led the editorial effort, with a support from Transform across editorial, mix, sound design, VFX, retouching, color, and finish.

This edit features an “infinite runway” effect in which each queen was captured with a motion controlled camera, and subsequently composited into a seamless, single runway environment. Transform also created MTV branding elements on the vehicle and tile floor, and provided miscellaneous beauty retouching on the queens and vehicle.
